On the afternoon of the 29th, the opening ceremony of the 27th Jeonju International Film Festival was held at Moak Hall of the Sori Arts Center of Korea in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province.

The opening ceremony of the 27th Jeonju International Film Festival is hosted by Shin Hyun-joon and Go Won-hee and proceeds in the order of red carpet, photo wall, and opening declaration, with many filmmakers including Organizing Committee Chair Woo Beom-ki, director Byun Young-joo, Ko A Sung, and Kwon Hae-hyo in attendance. The festival runs from Apr. 29 to May 8 around Film Street in Jeonju.
