The first feature debut by Jang Dong-yoon, who transformed from actor to director, "Nuruk" tells a special story that unfolds when an 18-year-old girl, Dasul, the daughter of a famed neighborhood brewery known only to locals and a lover of makgeolli, senses one day that the taste of makgeolli has changed and sets out to find the missing nuruk, the main ingredient of makgeolli.
