The first feature directorial debut by Jang Dong-yoon, who transitioned from actor to director, "Nuruk" is a work that tells a special story that unfolds when an 18-year-old girl named "Daseul," the famed daughter of a neighborhood-only-known brewery and a lover of makgeolli, one day senses that the taste of makgeolli has changed and sets out to find the missing nuruk, the main ingredient of makgeolli.
