[OSEN] The funeral Mass and farewell ceremony for the late Ahn Sung-ki were solemnly held on the 9th at Myeongdong Cathedral in Seoul.
Ahn Sung-ki died at age 74 at 9 a.m. on the 5th at the intensive care unit of Soonchunhyang University Hospital in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, while receiving treatment with his family at his side. It was six days after he was taken to the hospital and treated in an unconscious state, after collapsing at home on the 30th of last month with food stuck in his throat.
At the farewell ceremony, Jung Woosung and Lee Jung-jae, heads of Artist Company, the deceased's last agency, saw him off, carrying the portrait and the medal, respectively. The pallbearers were Sul Kyung-gu, Park Cheol-min, Yoo Ji-tae, Park Hae-il, Cho Woo-jin, and Ju Jihoon.
