[OSEN] The funeral mass and farewell ceremony for the late Ahn Sung-ki were solemnly held at Myeongdong Cathedral in Seoul on the 9th.
Ahn Sung-ki died at age 74 at 9 a.m. on the 5th in the intensive care unit at Soonchunhyang University Hospital in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, while receiving treatment with his family by his side. It was six days after he collapsed at home on the 30th with food stuck in his throat and was taken to a hospital, where he had been treated in an unconscious state.
At the farewell ceremony, Jung Woosung and Lee Jung-jae, heads of Artist Company, the deceased's last agency, carried the portrait and decorations, respectively, to see him off. The pallbearers were Sul Kyung-gu, Park Cheol-min, Yoo Ji-tae, Park Hae-il, Cho Woo-jin, and Ju Jihoon.
