[OSEN] The funeral mass and farewell ceremony for the late Ahn Sung-ki were solemnly held on the 9th at Myeongdong Cathedral in Seoul.
Ahn Sung-ki died at age 74 at 9 a.m. on the 5th at the intensive care unit of Soonchunhyang University Hospital in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, while receiving treatment with his family at his side. It was six days after he collapsed at home on the 30th with food stuck in his throat and was taken to a hospital, where he had been treated in an unconscious state.
At the farewell ceremony, Jung Woosung and Lee Jung-jae, heads of Artist Company, the deceased's last agency, saw him off by carrying, respectively, the portrait and the order. The pallbearing was undertaken by Sul Kyung-gu, Park Cheol-min, Yoo Ji-tae, Park Hae-il, Jo Woo-jin, and Ju Jihoon.
