[OSEN] The funeral mass and farewell ceremony for the late Ahn Sung-ki were solemnly held on the 9th at Myeongdong Cathedral in Seoul.
Ahn Sung-ki died at age 74 at 9 a.m. on the 5th at the intensive care unit of Soonchunhyang University Hospital in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, while receiving treatment with his family at his side. It was six days after he collapsed at home on the 30th with food stuck in his throat, was taken to a hospital, and remained unconscious under treatment.
At the farewell ceremony, Jung Woosung and Lee Jung-jae, heads of Artist Company, the deceased's last agency, sent him off by carrying the portrait and the decoration, respectively. The pallbearers were Sul Kyung-gu, Park Cheol-min, Yoo Ji-tae, Park Hae-il, Cho Woo-jin, and Ju Jihoon.
