[OSEN] The funeral mass and farewell ceremony for the late Ahn Sung-ki were solemnly held at Myeongdong Cathedral in Seoul on the 9th.
Ahn Sung-ki died at age 74 at 9 a.m. on the 5th at the intensive care unit of Soonchunhyang University Hospital in Yongsan District, Seoul, with his family by his side as he was receiving treatment. It was six days after he collapsed at home on the 30th of last month with food stuck in his throat and was taken to a hospital, where he had been treated in an unconscious state.
At the farewell ceremony, Jung Woosung and Lee Jung-jae, heads of the deceased's last agency Artist Company, carried the portrait and the medal, respectively, to see him off. The pallbearers were Sul Kyung-gu, Park Cheol-min, Yoo Ji-tae, Park Hae-il, Cho Woo-jin, and Ju Jihoon.
