Samsung SDS said on the 15th that it became the first domestic corporations to earn the select-tier partner status in Anthropic's "Claude Partner Network (CPN)."
The CPN select tier is a status Anthropic grants to partners with certified Claude-related technical personnel and experience building and deploying in real corporate environments. Samsung SDS secured this status following a strategic partnership it signed with Anthropic at the AI Summit held in San Francisco in July.
Samsung SDS also holds authorized reseller status to provide Claude through Amazon Web Services (AWS)' generative artificial intelligence (AI) platform Amazon Bedrock. With this select-tier designation, the company plans to support the entire AI adoption process for corporations, from consulting for Claude adoption to model provision, service buildout and operations, and technical support.
The two companies are jointly identifying new business opportunities in the Korean market and pursuing joint marketing, proof of concept (PoC), and the buildout of Claude-based services and AI agents. They also are cooperating to train "applied AI engineers" who support corporations' AI adoption and buildout and operations.
Under its "client zero" strategy, which applies new technology in-house first and then expands it to customers, Samsung SDS introduced Claude Enterprise into its internal work. It is currently providing Claude Enterprise to about 70,000 executives and employees at 20 Samsung affiliates. The company plans to apply the corporate use cases and operating experience accumulated through this to AI transformation (AX) projects in the public, finance, manufacturing, and logistics sectors.
