Big data analytics artificial intelligence (AI) corporations S2W said on the 10th that it will join the Daybreak Defense Network, the partner ecosystem of the global cybersecurity initiative "Daybreak" led by OpenAI.
Daybreak is a program that combines security workflows and partners' technologies with OpenAI's frontier AI models and the application security agent Codex Security. It helps the security teams of corporations and institutions proactively find, verify and fix vulnerabilities and respond to evolving cyber threats.
S2W is developing a security-specialized language model and an AI-based national security and security platform. It also conducts AI vulnerability assessments and penetration testing and has built up technical and business experience in AI and security.
Leveraging participation in this program, S2W plans to expand its capabilities in vulnerability discovery, verification and remediation, threat modeling and security investigations. It is also reviewing ways to link OpenAI's cybersecurity technologies and security controls with its own autonomous AI agents and other technologies and products. It is exploring ways to apply these to an "AI red-teaming" business that examines AI systems' vulnerabilities from an attacker's perspective.
Suh Sang-duk, CEO of S2W, said, "I believe our broad collaboration references with the public sector overseas, including Interpol and government agencies in Asia, the Middle East and Europe, as well as our experience participating in the Microsoft (MS)-led technology ecosystem, played a decisive role in this." He added, "We will use this as an opportunity to further cement technical trust in S2W in the global market, strengthen our overseas business base and expand customer touchpoints."
