SK Square is transforming into an "AI-native investment company," applying artificial intelligence (AI) across investment execution and the overall business operations of its portfolio corporations.
SK Square said on the 10th that it is redesigning its work and decision-making system around AI, led by the AI Innovation unit established this year. The strategy goes beyond using AI as a mere auxiliary tool to change how the organization works itself.
To that end, it has set up a separate sandbox environment where employees can freely test multiple AI models. Currently, about 80 employees are directly building and using around 90 AI agents that support market research, sourcing investment targets, and writing reports.
It also built an in-house knowledge data hub, "Kiwi." The system allows AI to accumulate and classify materials such as reports and emails produced by employees so that members can use them as a shared asset.
It is also working in parallel to boost the productivity of portfolio corporations. SK Square formed the "10x TF" with developers from SK Planet, 11Street, and Tmap Mobility to automate on-site tasks. The company said this cut the organization expense of the 11Street operations center by about 50%.
SK Square plans to expand its AI innovation model to the group's information and communications technology (ICT) services. It will also build a system to integrate and manage key data such as OK Cashbag, the 11Street product catalog, and Tmap Mobility points of interest (POI).
