CALIVERSE, a subsidiary of Lotte Innovate, said on the 10th it launched the "Lotte Giants virtual styling shop" targeting baseball fans.
The "Lotte Giants virtual styling shop" is an immersive service that uses artificial intelligence (AI)-based virtual models and digital twin technology to let fans try on and experience ballpark merchandise before purchasing.
The service consists of an "AI styling shop" and a digital twin-based "immersive store." In the "AI styling shop," users can explore 33 types of merchandise, including apparel and accessories used in actual ballparks. Every displayed item can be cross-tried in various combinations, and if users want to buy, they are taken directly to the LotteON sales page for a seamless experience from browsing to purchase.
The "immersive store" is composed of two spaces: a uniform hall and a Giants flagship store hall with various accessories. Selecting an item displayed in the virtual space leads to a detailed page and then to a purchase page. Using a smartphone gyroscope, users can move the screen to freely change viewpoints in the space, and the go-to-space function for each product lets them move quickly to the desired spot.
Based on its immersive commerce operating experience spanning appliances and fashion to sports, CALIVERSE plans to broaden customer touchpoints. It will enhance personalized product recommendations and styling features, seasonal planned content, and experiential content based on virtual spaces, and expand its immersive commerce business into various fields such as living and entertainment.
