Devsisters said on the 7th that on the 4th it began pre-registration for Cookie Run: Card Collection, a Roblox game based on the trading card game (TCG) Cookie Run: Bravers Card Game (hereafter Cookie Run Card Game).
Cookie Run: Card Collection is a game based on Roblox in which players collect, bake, and grow various Cookie Run cards. Players can obtain random cards at set intervals and enjoy content such as displaying decorated cards and using cards to battle.
Devsisters introduced a new genre called "RCG simulation" through Cookie Run: Card Collection. Short for "Random Card Generator," it combines the random element (RNG) characteristic of popular Roblox games with the strategic collection of TCGs to provide a distinctive experience of creating and completing a personalized deck.
This project is being pursued by Devsisters together with Versework. Versework is Asia's largest user-generated content (UGC) developer creating various games based on Roblox, and it develops and operates its flagship title Sol's RNG, which has surpassed 2 billion cumulative plays.
Meanwhile, Cookie Run Card Game officially entered North America in Jul. last year. Through Cookie Run: Card Collection, Devsisters plans to go beyond physical cards by combining them with the digital platform Roblox to build a new user base and explore the potential for expanding the IP ecosystem.
Cookie Run: Card Collection will launch worldwide on Oct. 10 and will support Korean and English. Pre-registration is available on the Cookie Run: Card Collection page on the Roblox platform.
