SAP Korea said on the 7th that it has extended its official sponsorship agreement with women's professional golfer Chun In-gee through Dec. 31, 2027. The sponsorship signing ceremony was held on the 5th at Asiana CC during a VIP customer invitational golf event, with Chun and key clients in attendance.
Chun In-gee is maintaining steady competitiveness this season, contending for titles at majors and recording multiple daily bests at several tournaments.
SAP Korea and Chun In-gee have carried out various activities together over the past 10 years based on mutual trust. Early in the sponsorship, they held a design thinking workshop at the SAP AppHaus and explored ways to improve performance using IoT and big data technologies, and during an invited visit to SAP's headquarters in Germany, they offered a pro bono golf clinic for local junior players. Building on this contract extension, both sides plan to continue exchanges and cooperation through sports and to sustain a partnership in which corporations and the athlete grow together.
