Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) corporations AI Spera said on the 4th that it will expand its push into the Middle East and Africa security market based on its local partner network and financial-sector customers.
AI Spera has built partnerships with three corporations—Techparks, CloudSpera, and Recon—and is expanding its business base with a focus on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt. It signed partnerships in order with Techparks in May 2024, CloudSpera in Nov. 2025, and Recon in May this year.
Local collaboration has also led to customer acquisitions. In Jan. this year, AI Spera, through its collaboration with Techparks, secured a major bank in the Middle East as a client. It plans to use this as a key reference to expand its local customers, including in the financial sector.
Recon, a cybersecurity distribution corporations headquartered in Dubai, is the official distributor for AI Spera's threat intelligence platform "Criminal IP" in the Middle East and Africa. It is pursuing the supply of the solution to managed security service providers (MSSP), security operations centers (SOC), and threat analysis teams in the Middle East, North Africa, and sub-Saharan Africa.
Recon handles everything from proof of concept (PoC) to integration with existing security systems, threat intelligence training, and post-deployment technical support. It plans to link Criminal IP with the security information and event management (SIEM), security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR), and extended detection and response (XDR) platforms used by local customers.
Criminal IP continuously scans about 4.3 billion IP addresses worldwide and provides real-time IP information, domain scanning, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and dark web monitoring. It analyzes corporations asset exposed externally and vulnerabilities, the relationships among malicious IPs and domains, and command-and-control (C2) servers to help security teams set response priorities.
