Notion said on the 3rd that it has joined hands with CJ CheilJedang to systematically accumulate the research knowledge and context of the Technology Materials Research Institute and move to build a research and development (R&D) work environment that can use artificial intelligence (AI) going forward.
Notion will work with the researchers at CJ CheilJedang's Technology Materials Research Institute to use Notion, in addition to the existing in-house LIMS (laboratory information management system), to systematically accumulate contextual information such as research background, discussions, reflections, and decisions generated during the research process. The plan is to structure in Notion the various information created during research and development (R&D), including research records, experimental data, and meeting contents, and to create a work environment where information needed for each project can be managed efficiently.
This agreement will proceed together with CJ OliveNetworks. CJ OliveNetworks, in cooperation with Notion, will support the supply of Notion licenses and the establishment of an operation and management system for CJ CheilJedang's Technology Materials Research Institute. Researchers at CJ CheilJedang's Technology Materials Research Institute expect to improve the efficiency of repetitive tasks such as research information search, summarization, and reporting using AI in the future and to focus more on research activities.
Specifically, Notion plans to operate research information and knowledge management for each research and development (R&D) project at CJ CheilJedang's Technology Materials Research Institute on a Notion basis and to establish a reporting system based on the accumulated research information. It will also support measures such as strengthening the connectivity and usability of research information through linkage with the existing in-house LIMS system. Furthermore, it plans to gradually expand the scope of use to AI-based meeting records, reporting, and decision-making support.
