ATON said on the 1st that it transferred its headquarters from Park One in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, to a new office building in Seongsu-dong.
The new office is on the 12th floor of the Seoulsup A1 Knowledge Industry Center in Seongsu-dong 1-ga. ATON purchased and has owned the site in 2021, and with this headquarters transfer, it will use the entire 12th floor exclusively.
ATON said that as Seongsu-dong has emerged as a new industrial hub concentrated with advanced industries including IT, fashion, and cultural content, it plans to speed up organizational operations and business execution based on Seongsu's regional and cultural environment. It also noted that Seongsu has strong accessibility to the southeastern area where IT talent is concentrated, allowing the company to tap a broad talent pool.
The new office uses an entire floor as a single open space. A common lounge and meeting areas are placed at the center, with work zones by organization arranged around them to make movement and collaboration between departments easier.
ATON has grown based on authentication and security for the financial sector and is recently expanding into Quantum-resistant Encryption and digital asset security. The Security Center launched last year also expanded its service lineup this year and secured new clients in nonfinancial sectors such as gaming, manufacturing, and IT services.
With this transfer, ATON shifted from a leased office to using a self-owned building. The company reduced its rent burden while gaining flexibility to use office space in line with future business expansion.
Chief Executive Woo Gil-su of ATON said, "As the areas where ATON's technology is applied are expanding from finance and telecommunications to the broader industry, Seongsu-dong is the optimal location to face these changes up close," adding, "Based on the new office, we will focus even more on technology and talent."
