Huawei Korea said on the 31st it will release the new smart bands "Huawei Band 11" and "Huawei Band 11 Pro" in Korea.
The Band 11 body weighs about 17g without the strap. That is slightly heavier than two 500-won coins, which weigh 7.7g each. The Band 11 Pro weighs about 18g, and both models are 8.99 mm at their thinnest point. The battery lasts up to 14 days on a single charge. In a setting that uses heart rate, sleep, and blood oxygen measurements together, it lasts for eight days. The display is a 1.62-inch AMOLED, with a screen area 27% larger than the previous model. It supports 5ATM water resistance for use in pools.
Both products newly support all-day heart rate variability (HRV) measurement. HRV readings serve as a basis to assess physical recovery. On days when HRV is lower than usual, it signals less recovery. Sleep is measured using HUAWEI TruSleep 5.0, and a new nap recap feature analyzes nap time separately, which had been omitted from past records.
The Band 11 Pro is equipped with a standalone global navigation satellite system (GNSS). Because the band connects to satellites on its own rather than borrowing a smartphone's GPS, it records outdoor running, walking, and cycling routes on a map even if you leave your phone behind.
Both products support Android 9.0 or later and iOS 13.0 or later. Because they are not limited by smartphone operating system, the band can be used as is even after switching devices.
The prices are 74,900 won for the Band 11 and 98,900 won for the Band 11 Pro.
