Megazone is joining hands with Hanmi Science(008930) to launch Hanmi Group's artificial intelligence transformation (AX).
The two companies said they signed a business agreement on the 26th at Hanmi Group's headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The plan is to combine Megazone's AI and cloud technology with Hanmi Science(008930)'s experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors to innovate the group's ways of working.
The areas of cooperation include discovering AX-based tasks to improve work, strengthening digital transformation capabilities, and reviewing new AI-related businesses. Rather than merely introducing general-purpose AI, they plan to jointly design field-oriented services that reflect the regulations and work characteristics of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. After the agreement, they will form a working council to detail applicable tasks and execution plans and expand the scope of cooperation step by step.
Hanmi Science(008930) has recently been running the "Hanmi AI Boost Program" for all affiliates, including Hanmi Pharmaceutical, to expand employees' use of AI and identify cases of work innovation.
