ESTsoft said on the 31st that it plans to unveil the AI assistant "Al Assistant" in the second half of this year.
Al Assistant is being developed with the goal of becoming the easiest-to-use installed AI agent. ESTsoft is focusing on core strengths that include a personal agent that completes tasks on its own, a PC-installed version that understands and works with an individual's file system as well as apps and the web, service sustainability secured through the world's lowest inference expense using small language models (SLMs), and an operating network built on the AlTools suite.
In particular, the AI chatbot function will be launched with "Deep Research," which finds evidence-based answers, and "Skill Wish Store," which integrates external apps to improve the completeness of results. It will also include public services that assist administration, "My Encyclopedia," which learns personal information to help with daily life, and "AI Human mode" for seniors.
Al Assistant will start this year centered on chatbot services, and from next year will broaden accessibility with multimodal generation; specialized information search for patents, case law, and real estate; expansion of the Skill Wish Store linked with Deep Research; and voice conversations with AI Humans, while further strengthening security.
ESTsoft's strategy is to complete Al Assistant as a safe personal AI assistant optimized for everyday use so anyone can use it easily. Starting with the service launch in the second half of this year, the company aims to secure 10 million monthly active users (MAU) by 2030.
Chief Executive Jeong Sang-won of ESTsoft said, "We plan to unveil 'Al Assistant' in the second half of this year by combining more than 30 years of software operation know-how built with the public and our AI capabilities," adding, "The installed agent 'Al Assistant,' which understands daily life and makes it more convenient, will change our everyday lives going forward."
