SK Telecom said on the 31st that it introduced "A. log," a feature in the adot app that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze information in photos and organize it as records.
A. log automatically generates a title, description, and tags by understanding the content of photos taken. If you shoot a concert poster, it extracts and records the concert name, schedule, and venue, and classifies photos by type such as business cards, receipts, meeting materials, whiteboards, and parking locations. Users can find the photos they need by the time they were taken or by keyword, or view all records with the same tag at once.
Users of Meta's AI glasses can convert photos directly into records by enabling automatic linkage in the adot app. All Meta AI glasses models, including Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2, are supported. Android smartphone users can also shoot directly with the in-app camera or import images saved in the photo gallery.
Privacy features are also applied. If a photo contains sensitive information such as a resident registration number, the relevant part is masked before analysis, and the original image is stored only on the user's device, not on a server.
SK Telecom plans to expand functionality by linking A. log with the memo service "adot Note," enabling users to manage photos and text together. Jang Seong-guk, head of AI service development at SK Telecom, said, "We will advance the service so users can easily record various types of information and use it again."
