Amazon Web Services (AWS) on the 28th unveiled Student Rewards, a program for university students, at the AWS Builder Center.
Student Rewards is a program that helps university students receive benefits such as a 12-month Premium Skill Builder pass for AWS credits as they learn, build projects, and connect with other developers.
With this program, AWS will invest more than $500 million (about 700 billion won) to support the education, tools, and certifications needed for university students worldwide to start careers in cloud and AI.
Student Rewards is open to students enrolled in universities and equivalent 2- to 4-year higher-education institutions worldwide.
Those eligible are age 18 or older and enrolled in an accredited program leading to a degree or professional qualification, and they can apply immediately after verifying enrollment through SheerID. Korean university students are also eligible.
The AWS Builder Center is a space to learn AWS technologies through hands-on workshops and to network with other developers in communities by topic of interest or region.
Based on this Builder Center, Student Rewards offers additional benefits such as AWS credits, premium training content, and certification exam vouchers to students whose enrollment has been verified.
