German home appliance maker Miele will unveil new products including a dishwasher and cooking assistant with artificial intelligence (AI), washers and dryers, and cordless vacuum cleaners at IFA 2026, the world's largest home appliance trade show, in Berlin, Germany, next month.
Miele said on the 27th that at IFA 2026, which opens Sept. 4, it will showcase new products and future-oriented lifestyle solutions in line with the event slogan, "The Future is Now." At this exhibition, Miele will present a range of products under the theme "The end of the housework is in sight," leveraging AI and smart technology to reduce the burden of housework and respond to changing residential environments.
The main new product is the G8 series of dishwashers equipped with an AI camera. For the first time among Miele dishwashers, the G8 uses an AI-based camera to recognize the loading status and types of tableware placed inside and automatically selects the appropriate wash options.
It also features ExcellentDry, which boosts drying performance for hard-to-dry items such as plastic. According to Miele, when using the ECO program, the G8 reduced energy consumption by up to 25% compared with the European energy efficiency class A standard.
The Miele application (app) introduces CulinaryCoach, an AI-based cooking assistance feature. When a user selects a desired dish, it provides step-by-step guidance on suitable cooking methods and preparation, and sends programs and settings to the connected oven.
In kitchen appliances, the company will showcase the KM 8000 induction lineup and new range hoods. The KM 8000 features M Sense, which links cookware with the cooktop to automatically adjust power output according to cooking status. Miele will also unveil an integrated model that combines induction and ventilation, and a downdraft hood with a matte finish called MattFinish.
In laundry and drying, Miele will unveil the W2 washer and T2 dryer, each with a capacity of up to 11 kilograms. It also plans to exhibit a future-oriented laundry concept that uses AI and intelligent sensors to recognize laundry and automatically select suitable programs and settings.
Miele will also unveil the next-generation cordless vacuum cleaner Duoflex HX2. It supports both vacuuming and mopping in a single product, and uses the AquaTurbo mopping tool to remove dry dust and wet dirt together. An automatic cleaning station and the AutoCut and AutoClean features automate emptying the dustbin, removing tangled hair from the brush, and washing the wet rollers.
Miele will also present the Miele Compact Living kitchen unit, developed in collaboration with furniture maker Hettich. It is a future-oriented residential concept designed to use limited living space for multiple purposes such as cooking, dining, and work.
Daniel Vladimirov, Miele's vice president of sales in Germany, said, "For Miele, innovation is not an end in itself. New technology is meaningful only when it makes customers' lives tangibly more convenient," adding, "We will continue to develop solutions that deliver greater convenience and save time so customers can devote more time to what matters in life."
