Samsung Electronics unveiled the Galaxy S26 Fan Edition (FE) on the 27th. The Galaxy S26 FE comes in a single 256GB capacity, with a launch price of 1.045 million won. It will go on sale in Korea on the 4th of next month.
The Galaxy S26 FE is equipped with the in-house mobile application processor (AP) "Exynos 2500." The 4,900mAh battery can charge up to 69% in 30 minutes. It features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate.
The camera supports "My Fan Cam," which automatically tracks a selected person, "Super Steady" to reduce video shake, and "Nightography" for low-light shooting. After shooting, a variety of editing features are easy to use, such as changing the background via natural language input through "Photo Assist."
The operating system (OS) is One UI 9 based on Android 17. Galaxy artificial intelligence (AI) on One UI 9 understands a user's daily life and context to provide information. Using the "Now Brief," users can see information at a glance, such as weather, health, and traffic. With natural language input, briefing cards can be arranged to conveniently receive customized information that fits the flow of the day. "Now Nudge" identifies the user's situation and context and suggests ways to naturally continue the next action. Samsung Electronics supports up to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.
The Galaxy S26 FE will roll out sequentially starting on the 4th of next month in countries including Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Thailand. It comes in three colors: Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio.
Samsung Electronics will run the "New Galaxy AI Subscription Club" for unlocked models sold in Korea. Subscribers can receive benefits including: ▲ up to 50% guaranteed residual value when returning the device ▲ Samsung Care+ ▲ discounts on accessory packages.
Samsung Electronics will provide Galaxy S26 FE buyers with a six-month subscription to Google AI Pro worth 29,000 won per month, along with a two-month Welaa subscription and a 30% off accessory coupon usable in the Samsung.com app.
