NEXON Games said on the 24th that it has finalized the official title of its new bishōjo game "Project RX" as "Fareidolia (FAREIDOLIA)."
"Fareidolia" is a PC, console, and mobile-based bishōjo game being developed by RX Studio under the IO Division of NEXON Games, the developer of "Blue Archive." The company said the game's title reflects a story about discovering familiar everyday life and forging new bonds in the otherworldly "Animashi," a realm that resembles reality yet feels unfamiliar.
"Fareidolia" is realized with high-quality 3D graphics built on Unreal Engine 5. It features dynamic combat, an immersive story, and connections with distinctive characters.
NEXON Games will unveil "Fareidolia" at Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2026, to be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, from the 17th to the 21st of next month. It will set up a booth that faithfully reproduces the in-game "Tasukare Hall" and offer hands-on demos of "Fareidolia." In addition, it will present character cosplay such as "Minie," "Ohana," "Shami," and "Elevator Girl," along with various interactive events and limited-edition goods.
