EVSIS, an electric-vehicle charging specialist and subsidiary of Lotte Innovate, said on the 20th it will link its payment system with Lotte Members' integrated membership L.POINT.
EVSIS recently expanded the convenience of member authentication by linking with the mobile easy payment service "Samsung Wallet," and has now extended it further by linking with L.POINT.
L.POINT is the Lotte Group's integrated membership run by Lotte Members, with 45 million members, the largest in Korea.
With this linkage, EVSIS members can purchase dedicated charging vouchers using L.POINT within the EVSIS app. There is no cap on L.POINT usage at checkout, allowing customers to use their points to reduce electric-vehicle charging expense.
Also, when paying standard charging fees in the EVSIS app or purchasing a subscription with a credit card, 0.5% of the payment amount is automatically credited as L.POINT. At EVSIS charging stations nationwide, users can freely use their L.POINT when paying in the app by scanning a QR code on site.
To mark the linkage with L.POINT, EVSIS will offer four types of dedicated charging vouchers—purchasable only with L.POINT—at a 20% discount through Nov. 30 this year.
EVSIS CEO Oh Young-sik said, "We will continue to expand member-centric benefits and diverse platform partnerships, prioritizing customers' charging convenience and accessibility, while steadily broadening our business beyond Korea into overseas markets."
