Korea Nintendo said on the 4th that worldwide cumulative sales of the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive "Pokémon Pocopia," released simultaneously worldwide in March, reached 5 million copies.
Pokémon Pocopia is a life simulation game starring the Pokémon "Metamon," which transforms into a human form. Users can craft tools with wood and stone alongside Pokémon in an empty village, gather berries, and decorate their own village.
On the 5th, the first paid add-on content, "Bubbling Undersea Village," was officially released. By using the newly added skill "Diving," players can travel to the Bubbling Undersea Village under the sea and enjoy new content.
Korea Nintendo plans to roll out additional content in phases. The second wave, scheduled for release this winter, will add new accessories, Pokémon, and furniture. The third wave, slated for release in 2027, will add a new village, Pokémon, and furniture.
