The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max features bionic dual robot leg technology. This allows it to clear thresholds and obstacles up to 6 cm high. The triple expansion system consists of an extendable side brush, a corner mopping pad, and a mechanical roller arm. A retractable LiDAR sensor automatically adjusts the vacuum's height, enabling entry into low spaces with a height of 9.3 cm. It also packs up to 35,000 Pa of suction and a main brush designed to prevent tangling. The AI panorama obstacle avoidance system based on triple cameras recognizes more than 280 types of objects such as cables, slippers, and furniture. With AI contamination recognition, it distinguishes 47 types of dry and wet contaminants and automatically adjusts suction and mopping methods according to the type.
The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 highlights a slim design at 90 mm tall. It can enter under low furniture such as sofas and beds, and comes with up to 30,000 Pa of suction, a dual-blade main brush that prevents tangling, and dual side brushes. Using D-ToF LDS navigation and AI monocular recognition, it detects and avoids more than 220 types of obstacles and can pass thresholds up to 40 mm high. When it detects carpet, it automatically lifts the mopping pad to prevent the carpet from getting wet. It also features a 5,200 mAh battery, a 4 L clean water tank, and a 2.5 L auto-dust emptying system that can be used for up to 75 days.
Both products can be remotely controlled via the "Xiaomi Home" app for starting and scheduling cleaning, zone cleaning, and setting virtual walls and no-go zones. They can save maps for multiple floors and also support voice control through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa with a smart 3D map.
A Xiaomi Korea official said, "The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 series offers differentiated technologies such as clearing high thresholds, reducing cleaning blind spots, and AI-based precision cleaning at an affordable price," adding, "With a three-year free warranty on the main unit and free replacement with a new product within one year, we will support the user experience after purchase as well."
