Smilegate will participate in Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2026 in Japan for the second straight year.
Smilegate said on the 13th that it will showcase the new games "Mirage: Invisible Future" (hereafter "Mirage") and "Dead Account: Two Blue Flames" at Tokyo Game Show, which will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, from Sept. 17 to 21.
Mirage is a collectible role-playing game (RPG) developed by Control9 and being prepared for service by Smilegate. Art director Kim Hyeong-seop (Hyulla), who has many fans in and outside Korea, participated.
"Dead Account: Two Blue Flames" is a team roguelite game based on a manga by writer Watanabe Shizumu that began serialization in 2023. It will faithfully reflect the original's story and worldbuilding, in which protagonist Enishiro Soji struggles with allies to vanquish ghosts resurrected from the social media (SNS) accounts of the dead. It is slated to launch as a cross-platform title on mobile and STOVE (PC).
Marking its 30th anniversary this year, Tokyo Game Show will run for five days, one day longer than before.
