Jensen Huang, Nvidia's chief executive officer (CEO), ranked No. 1 as the "best CEO" as rated by U.S. workers.
U.S. job information site Glassdoor said on the 12th (local time) that it released its "50 best CEOs of 2026" rankings and that CEO Huang topped the list with a 99% approval rating from employees.
Nvidia employees, in anonymous reviews left on Glassdoor, described CEO Huang as "a dynamic and authentic leader," "a true leader with vision," and a "rock star."
In the information technology (IT) industry, a total of nine people, including CEO Huang, made the list. Bill McDermott, CEO of enterprise software company ServiceNow, ranked 13th; Vlad Kliatchko, CEO of media and data company Bloomberg, ranked 35th; and Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, ranked 37th.
In second and third place were the CEOs of franchise car wash company Quick Quack Car Wash and medical device company Stryker, respectively. Each of the two CEOs had a 93% approval rating from employees.
The rankings were calculated for U.S. corporations with more than 1,000 employees that received at least 75 verified CEO ratings on Glassdoor from May last year to May this year.
According to Glassdoor, U.S. workers' overall evaluation of senior leadership this year fell below 3.5 out of 5, the lowest level since 2017.
Owen Humphries, president of Glassdoor, said, "The 50 CEOs selected this time show that decisive and trustworthy leadership is possible even when the labor market is challenging."
Nvidia also ranked third on Glassdoor's "best places to work" list. Google ranked 11th, Micron 59th, and Apple 77th.
