To implement TAC's high availability in the cloud at the same level as on-premises, you must build a redundant environment that runs TAC by distributing two virtual machines across different hypervisor nodes. That way, even if one hypervisor fails, the virtual machine on the other hypervisor runs without interruption, ensuring TAC's inherent high availability and stability.

To implement this multi-hypervisor–based TAC environment, NHN Cloud jointly conducted a proof of concept (PoC) with TmaxTibero, the Tibero manufacturer. It is the first case in which NHN Cloud collaborated with the developer to carry out a TAC PoC in a multi-hypervisor environment.

After completing key validations, NHN Cloud finished applying Tibero TAC to the Daegu PPP in Jul. The company said it is significant that, by applying TAC to an actual cloud environment for public systems that require high availability, the public sector can leverage both the flexibility of the cloud and the stability of TAC.

The Daegu PPP is a public–private partnership cloud space established within the National Information Resources Service Daegu Center to promote the adoption of private clouds in the public sector, and major services such as the pan-government service integration portal, the National Geographic Information Institute, the Veterans Medical Center, and the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education are hosted and operated on NHN Cloud's infrastructure.

Through this technology validation and the Daegu PPP application, public institutions can use a databases operating environment that combines the cloud's flexible scalability with TAC's high availability while reducing the burden of building separate physical infrastructure.
