Wemade narrows Q2 operating loss year on year but swings from Q1 profit

Wemade said on the 12th that it posted an operating loss of 21 billion won on a consolidation basis in the second quarter of this year. The loss narrowed 26.6% from the same period a year earlier.

However, after logging an operating profit of 8.5 billion won in the previous quarter, it swung to a loss in the second quarter.

Revenue was 108.3 billion won, down 7.3% from a year earlier.

Net profit was 3.5 billion won, swinging to the black from a net loss of 28.3 billion won in the same period last year.
