KT will launch new 5G plans combined with Google's Generative AI services. The plans let subscribers use Gemini and cloud storage with only the mobile plan, without a separate AI service subscription.
KT said on the 11th that it will introduce four Choice plans that include "Google AI Plus" as a standard benefit. The new products are "Choice 90 Google AI Plus," "Choice 110 Google AI Plus," "Choice 130 Google AI Plus," and "Choice Double YouTube Premium + Google AI Plus."
The monthly price ranges from 90,000 to 130,000 won with unlimited data. Depending on the plan, it also provides 60–100GB of shared data that can be used on tablets and smartwatches in addition to smartphones.
Subscribers can use "Google AI Plus (400GB)," worth 7,500 won per month, at no additional expense. It includes Generative AI features such as document creation, search, translation, and learning using Gemini, along with 400GB of cloud storage. The storage can be shared with up to five family members.
Customers with heavy AI usage can pay an additional fee to switch to higher-tier products. By paying an extra 4,400 won per month, they can choose Google AI Plus with 2TB of storage, or by adding 21,500 won per month, they can choose Google AI Pro with 5TB of storage.
KT also introduced a plan that offers YouTube Premium Lite and Google AI Plus together for 120,000 won per month.
