NCSOFT said on the 11th that its operating profit on a consolidation basis for the second quarter this year was tentatively tallied at 173.9 billion won. That was up 1,053% from a year earlier.
Revenue was 770.5 billion won, up 101% from the same period last year and 38% from the previous quarter. Net profit came to 131.2 billion won.
By region, revenue share was 48% in Korea, 25% in Asia, and 27% in North America and Europe. Overseas accounted for 52% of total revenue, surpassing domestic. The overseas revenue share rose for the fourth straight quarter.
PC game revenue hit a quarterly record at 343.8 billion won. "Lineage Classic" led growth with 183.5 billion won in revenue. As of the end of June, cumulative revenue for the 140 days since launch reached 269.1 billion won. Revenue from "Lineage Remastered" also increased 18% from the previous quarter.
Mobile game revenue inched up to 185.3 billion won from the previous quarter. Revenue from "Lineage M" rose 4% from the prior quarter.
Mobile casual revenue was tallied at 168.7 billion won as the global mobile game platform JustPlay was first included through consolidation. Mobile casual accounted for about 22% of total revenue.
Meanwhile, NCSOFT plans to showcase its global new lineup—including AION2, Sindercity, and Project Bonfire—at Gamescom 2026, the world's largest game show opening in Cologne, Germany, on Aug. 26.
