Neowiz said on the 10th that its subsidiary Nough Studio released a documentary, "Games by Gamers," about its flagship title "Lies of P."
Released worldwide on the official "Lies of P" YouTube channel on the 7th, the documentary captures Nough Studio's reflections and development philosophy as it continues striving to make better games even after the global success of "Lies of P" and the downloadable content (DLC) "Lies of P: Prologue."
It offers a detailed look at real development culture, including "Nough Live" and "Game Day," in which the entire development team, led by Director Choi Ji-won, repeatedly verifies the game by actually playing it until satisfied. It also shows the iterative verification process that continues until a game is complete and the team's efforts to produce a satisfying result.
A Neowiz official said, "This documentary was planned to convey that the time spent preparing the next title is also a crucial part of completing a game," adding, "Because the development culture Nough Studio has built is the foundation that allows Neowiz to consistently present highly polished works, we wanted fans to trust that we are putting our hearts into preparing the next project as well."
