Naver will partner with the National Institute for Lifelong Education (NILE) to improve the artificial intelligence (AI) and digital skills of seniors and people digitally excluded.
Naver said on the 7th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the National Institute for Lifelong Education (NILE) at Naver 1784 in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, to expand AI and digital lifelong education. The two sides plan to jointly develop educational content so that older adults and other groups who struggle to use digital services can easily use AI and online services in daily life.
The curriculum includes a digital literacy textbook using Naver's web browser "Whale." The plan is to improve accessibility by focusing the content on services frequently used in real life, such as how to use Naver Shopping and key features of Whale. The developed content will be distributed to lifelong education sites and other venues to expand learning opportunities.
