NC said on the 3rd it will change the name of its IT services subsidiary NC IDS to NC AX.
Since its establishment in Oct. 2024, NC AX has aimed to be an "AX (AI transformation) focused corporations" that applies artificial intelligence (AI) technology to industrial sites and commercializes it. Through the name change, it plans to strengthen its identity as an AX corporations and expand its AI-based business competitiveness.
NC AX will work with NC AI to accelerate AX at NC and key affiliates. It plans to maximize synergy by combining the company's development expertise in enterprise resource planning (ERP), business system development, platforms, and applications with NC AI's AI technology.
Chief Executive Officer Lee Jae-jin of NC AX said, "Based on the company's process improvement and application development expertise, we will continue to expand the AX business domain in cooperation with NC AI and strengthen related services."
