Devsisters said on the 31st that the new title "Cookie Run: Crumble" climbed to the top tier of app markets at home and abroad immediately after its release.
In Korea, driven by pre-downloads, it ranked No. 1 on the Apple App Store's free games chart even before its official release. On the 30th, the day of launch, it rose to No. 3 on the Apple App Store's game revenue chart. As of 8 a.m. that day, it was still No. 1 among free games and No. 3 in game revenue on the Korean Apple App Store, maintaining a steady early run.
Overseas response is positive as well. The company said that about half of first-day total revenue came from abroad, once again proving the global competitiveness of the Cookie Run intellectual property (IP). In particular, it placed high on Apple App Store popularity rankings in key markets where the existing Cookie Run series has been strong. It ranked No. 8 in the United States, No. 2 in Taiwan, and No. 2 in Thailand, drawing strong interest from overseas users.
"Cookie Run: Crumble" is the first mobile idle RPG under the Cookie Run IP. It features an idle, auto-growth system combined with strategic elements of collecting and combining various cookies and pets. The launch version includes 69 cookies and 54 pets, with plans to keep adding new cookies and pets through regular updates every four weeks.
