FADU said on the 30th that it will deliver a keynote speech titled "The future of AI storage: from silicon innovation to hyperscale efficiency" at FMS (Future of Memory and Storage) 2026, which will be held in Silicon Valley, Santa Clara, the United States, from Aug. 4 to 6 (local time).
The keynote will feature FADU Chief Executive Nam I-hyun and President Lee Ji-hyo, joined on stage by Ross Stenfort, senior engineer at SanDisk. FADU's leadership will share its vision for developing core storage system technologies to meet surging AI infrastructure demand and the results of developing next-generation 6th-generation solid-state drives (Gen6 SSD). They will also address the practical advantages in hyperscale environments of a design approach that secures throughput, latency, and power efficiency at the same time. Senior engineer Stenfort will examine how high-capacity NAND flash and observability technologies that view device health in real time are driving innovation in the flash market to match the rapidly shifting demands of AI data centers over the past two years.
FMS is a global memory and storage technology exhibition with participation from leading semiconductor corporations around the world and is the single largest event in the SSD industry, including NAND flash memory. Marking its 20th anniversary this year, FMS 2026 is expected to host more than about 3,500 attendees, some 1,500 organizations, and over 100 participating companies.
FADU will participate in this FMS as an Executive Premier corporation, the highest tier, and operate a large booth. It will showcase its flagship products and new business models, including next-generation Gen6 controllers, Gen5 controllers, servers applying AI storage, power solutions, and liquid cooling systems. In particular, it will exhibit a physical Gen6 SSD for the first time, conduct technology demos such as real-time performance demos and AI storage demos, and seek to strengthen existing partnerships and discover new customers through on-site meetings with local clients and partners.
