Industry-specialized artificial intelligence (AI) corporations MakinaRocks said on the 28th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hanwha Systems to expand AI transformation (AX) projects at various manufacturing sites in Korea and overseas.
MakinaRocks said it will join as a key strategic partner in Hanwha Systems' AI agent development and platform adoption projects. The agreement runs for three years from the signing date, and MakinaRocks plans to set up a dedicated task force (TF) for close collaboration with Hanwha Systems in the Yeongnam region, a core hub of manufacturing.
Kim Yoon-su, head of the Value Creation Division at Hanwha Systems, said, "We will steadily secure agent development capabilities through our collaboration with MakinaRocks and strengthen our business competitiveness."
Yoon Sung-ho, CEO of MakinaRocks, said, "Manufacturing sites span processes and equipment, and data security and on-site reliability are more important than anything," and added, "Through strategic collaboration with Hanwha Systems, we will validate our agent development capabilities and establish ourselves as a partner leading AI transformation on manufacturing floors."
