Dassault Systèmes said on the 27th that it will offer artificial intelligence (AI)-based virtual companions "AURA," "LEO" and "MARIE" on its 3DExperience platform. 3DExperience is Dassault Systèmes' flagship AI- and cloud-based integrated platform for 3D design, simulation and manufacturing, now in its 31st year.
AURA for program management, LEO for complex engineering and MARIE for deep science co-create and collaborate with users through 19 AI agent capabilities. A Dassault Systèmes official said, "Through this, we jointly develop products, asset and services and solve complex industrial challenges faster and more efficiently."
These virtual companions perform tasks by interpreting user intent based on structured industrial knowledge and know-how, inferring industrial context, making decisions, and producing science- and industry-based outcomes.
Dassault Systèmes also unveiled industry-specific virtual twin factories on the day. The virtual twin factory, as defined by Dassault Systèmes, refers to a new concept of factory that combines into one AI agent-based virtual companions that support human work, a highly automated workflow called "generative experience," and a service-based virtual twin as the industrial world model.
Pascal Daloz, Dassault Systèmes chief executive officer (CEO) and chairman, said, "Virtual twins have already become core technology for work in every industry, and now we want to showcase the future of the virtual twin factory."
The virtual companions run in an AI factory built by OUTSCALE, Dassault Systèmes' global cloud and AI provider, across three continents. A company official said, "Through this sovereign infrastructure, customers of all sizes can fully protect their data and intellectual property while using industrial-grade AI at scale."
