Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) said on the 24th that it will release its flagship soccer game EA Sports FC (hereafter FC 27) worldwide on Sept. 25.
Along with this, it selected French soccer player Kylian Mbappé and British soccer player Jude Bellingham, who excelled at the "2026 North and Central America World Cup," as the global cover models for the "FC 27 Ultimate Plus Edition."
FC 27 improved overall gameplay by reflecting feedback from users around the world. In the newly introduced social mode "The Grounds," players can develop their athletes while exploring three zones inspired by soccer culture. The transfer market in Career Mode is built on TransferRoom, a soccer transfer platform, and establishes a realistic system that reflects player value, club finances, player potential, and performance.
In terms of gameplay, it improved the corner kick system, attacking artificial intelligence (AI) positioning, and the balance of defensive AI.
John Shepherd, vice president of EA Sports FC, said, "We improved gameplay by reflecting user feedback and added various features to expand the experience so users can enjoy soccer and interact with each other."
