Panasonic Korea said on the 24th it will join the "16th Smile Run Festival" as an official sponsor.
The Smile Run Festival, to be held on Sept. 13 at Peace Plaza in Peace Park in Sangam-dong, Seoul, is a charity marathon organized by the Korean Dental Association to raise awareness of the importance of early prevention of oral cancer and to support treatment for patients with oral cancer and facial deformities. Entry fees and sponsorships will be used for treatment costs for patients with oral cancer and facial deformities through the Smile Foundation. Panasonic Korea has participated as a sponsor since 2023.
The event will feature four courses: a half course, 10 km, 5 km runs, and a walk. Panasonic Korea will provide home appliances such as massage chairs, beauty devices, hair dryers, and hair stylers as prizes for participants.
A Panasonic Korea official said, "We are once again joining an event that brings hope to patients with oral cancer and facial deformities this year," and added, "We will continue activities that create social value."
