Nota, an artificial intelligence (AI) model lightening and optimization corporations, said on the 24th that it will join AMD's Robotics Partner Network at the "AMD Advancing AI 2026" event held in San Francisco.
Based on this, Nota plans to expand its on-device (embedded) AI optimization technology into the Robotics field.
The AMD Robotics Partner Network is an open ecosystem that supports the development and deployment of robotics solutions in embedded (infrastructure-coupled), edge (on-device execution), and cloud environments based on AMD computing technology. A variety of corporations participate, including original design manufacturers (ODMs), independent software vendors (ISVs), sensor suppliers, and systems integrators (SIs), based on AMD's validated platforms.
Because robots operate in environments with limited power, memory, and compute resources, optimization technology is essential to run AI models directly inside robots. Nota plans to support stable AI execution even with limited compute resources by optimizing model size, computation, and memory usage to match the processors and system environments actually mounted on robots, based on AI model lightening and hardware-tailored optimization technology.
Chae Myeong-su, Nota's CEO, said, "For physical AI to deliver real value on industrial sites, technology that optimizes AI models to the compute and memory environments of actual robots is essential," adding, "With our participation in the AMD Robotics Partner Network, we will expand On-device AI optimization technology into the Robotics field and, in collaboration with corporations participating in the AMD Robotics Partner Network, contribute to spreading physical AI solutions that can be used on industrial sites."
