LG CNS is moving to train practical talent in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).
LG CNS said on the 21st that it was selected as a training institution for the K-Digital Training (KDT) AI Campus led by the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) and will run specialized courses starting on the 28th.
The KDT AI Campus is a large-scale, industry-linked talent development program in which the government will invest a total of 130 billion won to train 10,000 AI engineers. It selects applicants who want to work in the AI field and covers the full cost of education.
In this training, LG CNS will sequentially operate the Agentic AI Service Developer Course based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open protocol that allows AI models to connect to various tools and systems, and the Knowledge Graph–based AI Data Engineer Course.
The Agentic AI Service Developer Course builds capabilities to implement enterprise agentic AI services by leveraging AI technologies such as MCP, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), and LLM (large language model) that connect AI models with various work systems, and the AI Data Engineer Course teaches how to build and link systems so AI can effectively use corporate data by applying knowledge graph (Knowledge Graph) technology that identifies relationships among data.
In particular, LG CNS AI experts will directly participate in each course as mentors to pass on on-the-job know-how and help participants develop problem-solving skills.
Meanwhile, LG CNS is also expanding B2B AX training for corporate clients. Including LG affiliates, it is providing job-specific, business-focused AX training tailored to the level of AI adoption and roles for corporations and institutions such as NICE Information Service and the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises, and, through a partnership with Udemy, is offering more than 35,000 pieces of global learning content.
Lee Ho-gun, executive director overseeing public/telecom/education AX business at LG CNS, said, "Through the AI Campus, we will actively contribute to cultivating future talent with practical AX capabilities," and added, "Based on AX technical know-how accumulated across various industries and future technologies, we will continue to expand our AX training business specialized for business."
