Lotte Innovate said on the 16th that it unveiled about 10 AI agents developed for on-the-job deployment at an artificial intelligence (AI) exhibition held ahead of the "2026 second half Lotte VCM (Value Creation Meeting)" at Lotte World Tower in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the 15th.
The exhibition introduced AI use cases by affiliate and the status of artificial intelligence transformation (AX) initiatives to key executives of Lotte Group.
The AI agents unveiled were developed to support real-world tasks across a range of business fields, including food and retail, chemicals, and infrastructure. In the food and retail institutional sector, they showcased price monitoring; materials and supplies price and product demand forecasting; and store competitiveness diagnostics through consumer review analysis. In the chemicals institutional sector, they presented global market outlook analysis for petrochemicals and the electric vehicle and battery industries, and in the infrastructure institutional sector, they revealed functions for discovering candidate sites for new businesses and predicting content box office potential. A voice and motion recognition-based AI assistant was also exhibited.
The service applies large language model (LLM)-based Generative AI and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technologies. It analyzes internal corporations data to provide necessary information in real time and supports conversational functions using speech-to-text (STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS). The company plans to evolve it into an agentic AI form linked to corporate systems such as groupware and enterprise resource planning (ERP) to raise the level of work automation.
Lotte Innovate is also expanding its experience applying AI technology in the field. Its AI voice translation service, developed on the in-house integrated AI platform Aimember, recognizes workers' voices even at noisy construction sites to provide multilingual translation and is designed to incorporate construction-specific terminology. After being introduced at Lotte Engineering & Construction last year, the service was also applied to Daewoo Engineering & Construction in May this year.
Lotte Innovate plans to support Lotte Group's AX based on end-to-end (End-to-End) AI services that combine AI, cloud, and data center operation capabilities, while expanding its enterprise AI business for corporate customers across various industries.
