LG Electronics said on the 15th it will run a brand experience event for employees called "Life's Good Day." The event aims to spread a culture in which employees practice the brand's core values in work and daily life.
LG Electronics has been operating the "Life's Good Seondangpo" tour since on the 7th, visiting 10 business sites nationwide, including Yeouido LG Twin Towers, Magok Science Park, Changwon Smart Park and Pyeongtaek Digital Park. Executives, including CEO Lyu, will attend the event, which runs through the 24th of this month.
Lyu Jae-cheol, LG Electronics chief executive officer (CEO and president), said at Life's Good Day held at the west building of LG Twin Towers in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 13th, "We will think hard and put Life's Good into practice to provide a better life not only for current customers but also for future customers."
Life's Good Seondangpo is a program that encourages employees to pursue seonhaeng (先行), meaning to act first, and seonhaeng (善行), meaning to make a better world. Participants present actions to put into practice at work and in daily life and take part in brand-related experiences.
The venue features a display wall to share employees' action plans, a photo booth, a curling game, and an ice cream booth using eco-friendly reusable cups. The curling game reflects LG Electronics' core brand values, including ▲ uncompromising customer experience ▲ human-centered innovation ▲ warmth that makes you smile.
Lyu said, "Small actions practiced in each person's role will come together to deliver a better experience to customers and build the competitiveness of the LG Electronics brand," adding, "I hope Life's Good Day continues over the long term and firmly strengthens brand value."
LG Electronics has run a brand value internalization program for employees for four consecutive years since 2023. This year, it focused on experiencing and practicing brand understanding accumulated over the past three years in actual work and daily life.
Kim Hyo-eun, who leads brand management at LG Electronics, said, "A brand loved by customers begins with members' empathy and action," adding, "We will continue diverse programs so all members can naturally practice the brand's core values."
