With the move into Poland, LG Electronics increased the number of European countries offering LG Channel to 17. It plans to use Poland as a base to ramp up its push into Central and Eastern Europe.
In Poland, it offers news, sports, movies, and entertainment content. In partnership with global FAST solution corporations NEW ID, it is also introducing channels dedicated to K-content. It also plans to expand local channels and multilingual support, including Polish.
LG Electronics is increasing region-specific content not only in Europe and North America but also in Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia. In Brazil, more than 10% of all channels are dedicated to sports, and local sports channels have been added.
