The "smart farm agent," developed by Lotte Innovate based on large language model (LLM) technology, delivers the latest smart farm trends and essential professional know-how for crop cultivation to farm owners. A company official said, "It is designed so that even farm owners with limited experience can easily access expert knowledge."
Farm owners will be able to resolve a wide range of questions that arise while operating smart farms in real time and make fast, accurate decisions based on data. Through this, Lotte Innovate expects to increase the efficiency of farm management, maximize crop productivity, and translate it into tangible outcomes that reduce operating expense. They can also view materials analyzing crop market prices, enabling them to establish efficient cultivation and operation strategies.
Lotte Innovate previously developed vision AI technology that boosts productivity through AI models for predicting crop growth and monitoring pests and diseases. The company plans to further advance these AI-based agent technologies and expand related businesses in the form of software as a service (SaaS).
