Xiaomi Korea said it will release the Redmi Watch 6, a smartwatch with a battery that lasts up to 24 days, in the domestic market on the 9th. The sale price is 139,800 won.
The Redmi Watch 6 features a 52.58 mm (2.07-inch) AMOLED display. It applies a 9.9 mm thickness and a 2 mm ultra-slim symmetric bezel to achieve an 82% screen-to-body ratio. The case material is a high-strength aluminum alloy frame. It is compatible with both Apple iPhones and Android smartphones, and comes in three colors: obsidian black, silver gray, and glacier blue.
It supports up to 2,000 nits of brightness, a 60 Hz refresh rate, and 324 PPI to deliver a clear and smooth screen even under strong sunlight. The battery has a 550 mAh (typ) capacity and can be used without charging for up to 24 days with light use, up to 12 days with typical use, and up to 7 days with heavy use.
Health management features have also been further strengthened. The upgraded photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor provides heart rate measurement accuracy improved by 3% to 5% compared with the previous model. It also supports real-time underwater heart rate measurement while swimming. In addition, 24-hour heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂), sleep monitoring, and breathing exercises are available.
